Gearing up for the promo of her upcoming movie “L!fe Happens”, actress Kate Bosworth graces the cover of Company magazine’s May 2020 issue where she poses channelling her inner fashion icon. The 29 year old actress also took the time to sit down for a chat with Company where she gushed on her versatile fashion style.
Miss Bosworth is known for her penchant for fashion and unique fashion sense, so what better way to be portrayed by the magazine than through a bold, statement style photo spread which reveals an edgy looking Kate Bosworth donning an dip-dye blonde and green hair color and various fashionable ensembles that instantly capture attention. The love for fashion seems to run in the family as her dad has been an executive at Ermenegildo Zegna and it apparently his advice helped her develop her own, unique style. She tells Company about her father that: “He’s a former executive at Ermenegildo Zegna. I remember him telling me when I was at school that classic style won’t ever go out of fashion. At the time I thought,’You don’t know anything!’ But he was very right – and I still appreciate his advice now.”
Due to her career, Ms. Bosworth is constantly on the move but when she’s in L.A, she says that she is happy that she can pull off a simple outfit due to the wonderful weather. The 29 year old actress tells the magazine about her L.A fashion style that:
“There’s sort of a casual feel out here on the West Coast, so I’m lucky to have the luxury of not having to wear a million layers of clothing. I can just pull on a pair of shorts and a tee and I’m done.”
Her well defined style always includes a high dose of comfort especially when it comes to informal wear as she reveals to the magazine that comfort is her biggest style secret. She does however appreciate women who ‘commit’ to fashion on a high level, such as Dita von Teese, but she says she could never pull off such a style. Ms. Bosworth says:
“I look at someone like Dita von Teese and I’m like,’WOW!’ That whole kind of commitment level to fashion, I just can’t do it. When I get dressed, it’s always more relaxed.”
Apart from the fashion design her friend and shopping pal Sienna Miller did in collaboration with Savannah for Twenty8Twelve, Kate states that she also loves the new collection signed Proenza Schouler. She says:
“The Proenza Schouler collection. I’m always impressed by how they push themselves as a label. I’ve known them for such a long time and remember when their first collection was all black because they couldn’t afford anything else – now it really zings.”
