Rocking a new look, beautiful Kate Winslet covers the latest issue of ‘Vogue’ UK. The 35-year-old Oscar-winning actress sports a short bleached-blonde haircut and a flawless makeup, proving once again that natural beauty is incontestable. Photographed by Mario Testino, Kate looks extremely posh and seductive, yet fresh and young wearing a black viscose-knit Roland Mouret dress.

Inside the April issue of British ‘Vogue’, there is an interview in which Winslet opens up and talks about her life after the divorce from husband Sam Mendes, her career, and how she handles being a single mom.

Kate Winslet reveals things regarding her life after the separation and how it was for her to become a single-mother. She told the magazine that this is “an empowering thing”. “Experiencing those moments of being alone is a very, very weird flooring and exposing position to be in when you’re just not used to it. And it’s not just being in a relationship. It’s also the fact that I grew up in a family full of people,” Kate says in the cover story.

Still, despite all, she didn’t feel lonely or sad. “But I’ve never been lonely. And with my kids Mia and Joe that remains the case. But to be in this place now where I can say I really like this space. I really need to not have anyone around. It’s a surprise to discover that I like being on my own,” she admits.

Kate and director-husband Sam Mendes got married in a beach ceremony in 2020 and divorced last year. They had a son and they also raised Kate’s daughter Mia, from her first marriage. The divorce was amicable and by mutual agreement. And we all know that a divorce can be a turning point in a woman’s life as for some people it is impossible to cope and be the same after the change. However, Kate seems to be a realistic person who knew how to deal with the situation.

She told ‘Vogue’ why she refused to undergo psychotherapy following the split. “One of the reasons I’ve never done intensive psychotherapy or any of that stuff is that if there’s anything in me that needs fixing, I want to know that I can rely on my own intuition to fix it,” she confesses.
