It seems that Miley’s engagement with Liam Hemsworth might not materialize into marriage after all. Over the course of the engagement, many rumors concerning certain troubles in paradise have emerged and it seems that there is a grain of truth in them, after all and that the two have indeed grown apart. While neither of the two stars nor their official representative have made an official statement on the matter, several sources seem to point out that their relationship seems to be on the rocks for quite some time and that they eventually called it quits.

The rumors that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth called off the engagement are seen with suspicion not only due to the lack of official statements made on the matter, but also because the two were seen kissing at a party in the singer’s home. According to a source, however, this is because they weren’t quite ready to accept the truth. “They break up, get back together, repeat … they will eventually burn out,” a source told US Weekly.

It seems that although they are still seen together they actually sleep im separate rooms:”(Miley) stays in the master bedroom and Liam stays in one of the guest rooms,” an insider said. “Sometimes she’ll even stay at her parents’, which is across the street, with her sister or mom so she doesn’t feel alone.”

Other possible circumstantial evidence might be the fact that the “Hunger Games” star attended at the Cannes festival without her star. Despite all these allegations, there’s one thing that everyone seems to agree on. Miley Cyrus’ 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring is still in her possession. The “Can’t be Tamed” singer is allegedly still coming to grips with the fact that her four year relationship is over . According to Hollywood Life, which also followed the many rumors that emerged over the course of these months on the subject, Miley herself confirmed through a friend and said “We’re done”.
