Olivia Palermo became famous due to the reality TV show ‘The City’. Still, the 25-year-old socialite is mostly known for her great, flawlessly-enviable fashion and style instinct of mixing things that you would never think they worked together. The result is always casual and comfy, yet utterly voguish and chic. After modeling for Mango alongside her handsome boyfriend Johannes Huebl and for Tibi’s spring 2020 campaign, Olivia strikes a pose for Marie Claire June 2020, the UK edition. On the cover, Olivia wears a Proenza Schouler monochrome jacket and neon yellow tank, a Marni floral skirt, a necklace and cuff from Erickson Beamon, a statement DSquared2 necklace and her own ring.Inside the magazine, the gorgeous style icon talks about her amazing skills of pulling looks together and what she does in order to maintain her unique style. “I’m like a computer. I look at blogs and how people on the street put things together for ideas. When it comes to clothes, I remember every collection I’ve seen over the past 10 years. When I’m packing for a trip, I go through my whole wardrobe in my head, putting outfits together,” she told Marie Claire.
Olivia admits that working in the fashion industry has always been her dream. “I have my dream job. Since I was little I have always wanted to do this. I’ve always dressed up. It’s who I am.”
Her love for fashion is more than visible. Still, even though it might look easy, Olivia confesses that she invests time and effort in order to get that sophisticated, elegant style that made her become an international fashion queen. “I always put the time and effort in, even if I’m getting on a 6 a.m. flight. I love my steamer—whether it’s my own piece or a sample, I want an item to look perfect, just like the designer would want it. And I am all about a blow-dry,” the starlet told the magazine.
Ever since she entered under the public eye, Olivia constantly flaunted a flawless makeup and gorgeous hairstyles. She always said that when it comes to her beauty routine she’s rather easy-going. Olivia gave a few words of advice to Marie Claire’s readers, saying that, “Maintain yourself. Don’t go to sleep with makeup on, have a great tailor, get your shoes brushed up and re-soled regularly.”
