Reese Witherspoon graces the February 2020 cover of Elle magazine. The lovely actress sits down for a chat and opens up about a wide range of topics including meeting husband, Jim Toth, thinking she wouldn’t marry again, feeling sexier than ever and aging in Hollywood, and living a less-than-perfect life.

Speaking about how she met Jim at a friend’s house, Reese recalls that, “It happened out of the blue. This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, yelling at me. He was like, [slurring, scowling, pointing finger in her face] ‘You don’t know me.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I know. I don’t know you!’ Jim came over and said, ‘Please excuse my friend. He’s just broken up with someone.’ Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation. That’s just kind of who he is, a really good person.”

Last year, the Oscar-winning actress and agent Jim Toth tied the knot at her ranch in Ojai. Reese revealed in the interview with Elle that she thought she wouldn’t marry again. “Jim said, ‘I’m gonna show you every day what a good partner is, what a good person is. I’m going to take care of you. I’m gonna do this so much that you’re gonna get used to it.’ I was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ I’ve never had anybody like that in my life,” Witherspoon confessed.

The mother of two confesses that she feels sexy and comfortable when it comes to her body. “I do have to say, I like my body so much better after I had kids. Is that a crazy thing to say? I’m more womanly. I feel sexier. I’m more comfortable with my sexuality as I get older. When I was younger, I didn’t know why men were starting to look at me. Now I know why men are looking — and I’m cool with it,” she told the magazine.

Everyone knows that life in Hollywood can be rather tough and unforgiving. Lovely Reese also opened up about aging in the industry. In Elle’s February 2020 issue Reese admitted that, “Nothin’s going north. It’s all going south, might as well put in on film now. But not without a lot of padding and a push-up bra.”

Speaking with the magazine about earning a reported $15 to $20 million per film, the 35-year-old actress says that, “Every time they call and talk to me about money, I get embarrassed about it. A couple of women finally made me feel better: ‘To get what you’re making, do you know how much money people are making off of you?’ I’m like, ‘Oh, oh, okay.’”

Reese also opened up about her life admitting that, “I want to not perpetuate any more of this kind of garbage that’s out there in the media about women falling in love blindly.” She then added that, “No one’s life is perfect, and I’m sick of whatever tabloid stuff or this or that story tries to portray. My life is just as realistic as everybody else’s. Whoever thinks someone has a perfect life, I’m so eager to dispel that.”
