This well known American singer/actress/model, Taylor Momsen has managed to amaze everyone with her talent and determination to make it in the entertainment industry and it seems that she even says so herself as she stated into an interview she is a workaholic.
Taylor Momsen said “I’m a workaholic” but not in a bad way because she actually enjoys her work. This Hollywood babe says her bandmates from the “Pretty Reckless” are her closest friends and that she enjoys spending time with them. Thus, she has her friends along with her while she is on the road.
Taylor Momsen admitted she is a workaholic, but doesn’t complain about it, as this seems to make her feel complete and happy; we just hope her work will remain her only addiction. This is not what your average teen would say, buy hey, Taylor Momsen isn’t what you would say average. She seems to got it all: talent, drive, as well as stage presence, so no wonder she is becoming so successful.
Taylor told BANG Showbiz exclusively that: “My best friends come on tour with me, I’m so close with my band so that’s fantastic. It’s the best job, you get to be with who you love and be with your friends all the time. There’s no complaints. I’m working 24 hours a day and that’s probably the one thing people don’t know about me, that I’m a workaholic and I can’t stop. But I love what I do so it’s always fun.”
“I don’t want to consider myself to be a role model, that’s too much pressure for anyone to take on. I didn’t get into this industry to become a role model.” “I got into it very young and because I love music I still have that drive. I’m not happy if I’m not making music, it’s a simple as that. It’s a need. So if I inspire people who need to do what I do and want to have the same drive to work really hard then that’s great but don’t try to be me, be yourself. That’s the only foundation in this industry because it’s so critical and difficult.”
Celebrity life is not easy especially at such a young age, and this has been proven through time by celebrities who started being in the spotlight at a very young age and turned out getting in trouble when they became older, celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Macaulay Culkin, Britney Spears, etc. We just hope Taylor’s passion and determination helps her keep out of trouble, so she can live a well balanced life.
