It seems that supermodel Cindy Crawford passed on her good genes to her young 10 year old daughter Kaia, as the youngster has recently signed with renowned fashion label Versace. The 10 year old Kaia, which is at the beginning of her career, will be featured in the upcoming Young Versace ad campaign, and her mom, Cindy couldn’t help herself but to express her joy that Kaia will be working with people she knows and admires.
Kaia Jordan Gerber is the alike image of her mom known as a supermodel back in the 90s, and it seems that even Cindy’s power attitude has been passed on to little Kaia as she poses for the new Young Versace ad like a true pro, staring straight into the camera lens without looking uncomfortable.
Wearing a gorgeous skirt and leather jacket ensemble from the label’s newest collection, Kaia adopts a fashionable posture while tucking her hands in the pockets of her Young Versace jacket. The line which features high-end clothes for children up to age 12 brings amazingly detailed fashion pieces featuring iconic Versace motifs with a rock’n’roll twist, perfect for the youngsters that love to show off their unique style.
Cindy Crawford was more than glad to announce that her daughter Kaia will make her modelling debut with Versace, as she was once the muse for Versace founder Gianni, and said, according to DailyMail that: “I’m so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace Campaign. I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella. There is something so very special about the House of Versace. I am so proud of her.”
Versace’s creative director, Donatella Versace revealed that young Kaia is a natural in front of the camera, just like her mom. Donatella stated that: “Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her. Having Cindy on-set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother’s footsteps!”
