Dries Van Noten’s fall 2020 collection showcased at Paris Fashion Week was, as usual, a real delight. Indeed, the renowned designer managed to impress the audience with a unique range of goodies inspired by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. And the result was spectacular featuring an array of never-seen-before combinations and different silhouettes.
There was a mix of masculinity-meets-femininity spotted in the new Dries Van Noten fall 2020 collection. And we love it! “And what’s really the opposite of men’s wear is the exaggerated women’s wear,” the designer explained. “For me, I think about ice-skating. The diamond embellishment is there, the stones are always just a little bit bigger, the decoration is often feathers and fringes. It’s kind of the women’s wear invading the men’s elements in the collection.”
There were so many beautiful contrasting elements in Dries Van Noten‘s new collection! Feminine and masculine, minimalism and eye-catching details, go-with-everything neutrals and head-turning bold prints… One could see loads of covetable pieces that put together resulted into statement-making ensembles. The line featured elegant oversized coats, boyish shirts, loose sweaters, tailored pants, effortlessly chic blazers as well as stylish skirts and sophisticated dresses.
Ah, but did you gorgeous dolls see those glamorous ostrich feathers used for coats, dresses and skirts adding awesomeness and uniqueness to the line? The color palette was also extremely diversified from timeless black and gray to pops of fuchsia, yellow and luxurious brocade and patterns. Each outfit was completed by sexy heels or comfy oxfords. Well, just have a look at the Dries Van Noten fall 2020 collection from Paris Fashion Week and discover some really amazing goods. Trust us, these unexpected yet voguish and outstanding combinations will make your hearts go pitter-pat!
