Banana Republic tapped Roland Mouret for a limited edition capsule collection that will hit the stores this summer. The designer will be reflecting a modern approach and his well defined aesthetic into a new line consisting of nearly 30 pieces which is set to hit the stores starting with early August.
According to the designer, the new line will consist of versatile and easily customizable pieces: “Partnering with Banana Republic on this project was such an adventure for me. The common goal for this collection is to offer incredible fit through an assortment of hourglass silhouettes using Banana Republic’s Sloan fabric, extending my love of structure into accessible prices. These pieces are multi-functional for the modern woman to wear and accessorize in her own way, making her always ready for life’s journey.”
What to expect from the new Roland Mouret x Banana Republic collection? It seems like bold color-blocking, animal prints and graphic perforated details will be among the elements the new creations will be defined by. Among the defining apparel options will be sexy sheath dresses which will be the stars of the new line, smart blazers and fab pencil skirts, chic pants and sweaters. Moreover, the covetable apparel options included in the new Roland Mouret for Banana Republic collection will also come in petite styles.
Aside from chic clothes, the new limited edition collection will also include accessories, which will carry the same modern allure. The new campaign for the Banana Republic x Roland Mouret will be filmed in New York and will apparently be defined by a youthful allure, to match the style direction the retailer is adopting with this new line.
The alternatives included in the new Roland Mouret x Banana Republic will have prices ranging from $49.50 (for belts) and $165 (for a dress).
