The first months of 2020 will definitely be some exciting ones especially for fashionistas who have a soft spot for Gossip Girl stars. After Leighton Meester’s Vera Vang fragrance deal it seems that her equally famous college, Blake Lively has managed to get a similar deal for one of the most powerful brands in the fashion industry.
According to E! magazine the gorgeous 23 year old actress will be promoting the Chanel 2020 spring handbag line. The choice for the campaign is undoubtedly an unsurprising one not only due to the popularity of the star and her keen sense of fashion but also due to the closeness between the star and Karl Lagerfeld.
It’s well known fact that Blake Lively has been spotted in the front row at a variety of Chanel events this year such as the couture collection for Fall/Winter 2020-2020 so the collaboration is definitely a natural transition, a thing that not only adds more credibility to this marketing campaign but also makes it more profitable both for the young diva as well as for the popular brand.
Nonetheless the value at of the contract for the campaign still remains a mystery as no speculations or official statements have been made about this topic so far. It seems however that the well known fashionista has already traveled to Paris to work on the campaign which is said to be released early in 2020.
With so many upcoming advertising campaigns featuring some of the hottest stars of the moment we are guaranteed not to get bored by the same old commercials at least in the first trimester of 2020 when the marketing campaigns for spring summer 2020 collections will reach their peak.
Although we are excited to see the advertising campaign made by Ms Lively there is no doubt that the project will be a huge success given the excitement with which the news has been received as well as the fact that everyone is secretly hoping that a sneak peek of the campaign will be released soon enough.
