Cara Delevingne covers Miss Vogue’s inaugural issue. Yes, the 20-year-old model strikes a pose for British Vogue’s teen edition looking gorgeous as usual wearing a Topshop Unique crop top and skirt with an American Apparel t-shirt.

Speaking about Cara, who was by far one of the most sought after models in 2020, Vogue UK Editor in Chief Alexandra Shulman said that she’s “Miss Vogue made physical” with a “maverick sense of style and fun.”

Miss Vogue UK targets at a younger audience and its debut issue will be produced by the Vogue team. In its 124 pages one will discover the inspirational and authoritative spirit that its older counterpart is renowned for, but will talk directly to young women who love experimenting with fashion and beauty.

“We hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed working on it,” says Alexandra Shulman in her editor’s letter, reported by The Telegraph, which is accompanied by an image of her 15-year-old self. “Vogue magazine appeals to all ages but I wanted to produce an edition targeted at younger readers, created with your lifestyles in mind. As with the mother magazine, the fashion is meant to inspire even if you’re a bit short on cash.”

Miss Vogue will come as a double package with the June issue with no cover price change. Kate Moss covers the June issue of Vogue UK photographed by the legendary Patrick Demarchelier, while Cara was shot by Angelo Pennetta for this month’s spread.

The big news was made public back in January when British Vogue announced via Twitter that the magazine will be launching a teen offshoot this spring, Miss Vogue: “Working on Miss Vogue this afternoon – yes you heard correctly @BritishVogue are launching a teen edition in May #MISSVOGUE exciting times!”

We hope that Miss Vogue’s fresh and engaging voice will have the power, creativity and the intelligence of the mother magazine.

“All of us are really excited at the opportunity to create a slightly different Vogue for this readership,” Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman told Vogue.co.uk. “We know how much they love the magazine and so I wanted to produce something that would have bespoke content for a younger audience.”
