For this autumnal season, the British designer has created a shoe collection where every pair has a name: Aurora, Bianca, Metropolis, Janis, Marlene, Gina and so on. Most of these shoes, if not all, are best described by a certain geometric and architectural perspective.
Every pair of her shoes sets a real example that a certain point, a shoe is more than it; it’s a work of art, inspired by beautiful shapes around us. Take that and then add some singular working materials, python skins, stingray, semiprecious stones or crystals. This is the story behind every shoe signed Chrissie Morris.
We loved the Python Lace-ups Maym Pumps, that feature a 125 mm tapered square shape heel with Sting Ray insert, a round toe , a 15 mm covered platform, and thin black leather laces with tassel ends.
We also loved the Suede Stingray Insert Wedge Annie Pumps. This pair of shoes has a 140 mm suede wedge heel with imbedded Sting Ray inserts, a 40 mm platform, also a rounded toe, a beige leather innersole and a Sting Ray leather achilles notch.
But probably the most beautifully shaped and designed shoes from this collection are the Multi Color Crystal Shield Sandals, which feature a100 mm tapered Sting Ray covered heel, peep toe, a suede t-strap base covered in round Ayers Snake and Sting Ray patches with crystal centers, thin and adjustable Suede ankle strap and leather innersole and lining.
