Not long after introducing its first shoe line, Club Monaco launched a high-end collection. The New York based retailer is bringing a more luxurious version of its classic designs. If the arrival of the new season made you consider updating your wardrobe with high quality, beautifully constructed clothing that will stand the test of time, it’s definitely worth taking a closer look at the pieces from the new line as these definitely fit the description.
The new Club Monaco collection revolves around a small but very well defined color palette and several simple and ultra versatile garments with a modern touch. Caroline Belhumeur, senior vice president of women’s design explains that one of the main differences in aesthetics between the new line and the rest of the Club Monaco offerings is that: “there’s more of a designer eye on it, without overdesigning it.”

The subtle changes in styling perspective is not the only novelty the first Club Monaco high-end collection is defined by. The label has also used more high quality fabrics to make sure the new pieces will last a long time with proper care. The new creations are made out of Italian cashmere, fine silk, wool, shearling, calfhair or soft Italian leather. Among the sleek new alternatives from the new Club Monaco collection are luxurious coats, smart blazers, chic moto jackets, sultry cashmere and silk dresses and plenty of gorgeous skirts and sweaters to make a fashionista fall in love.
Though fans of the brand will recognize the label’s clean aesthetic in the new line, they might be a bit taken aback the first time they check the price tag of these gorgeous new garments. The increase in quality and the “designer” feel of the line commends a higher price range. The most affordable piece of the Club Monaco collection is a top that retails for $98.50. However, Yenna Italian Shearling Jacket, the most expensive piece of the new line retails for no less than $1,500.
