Predicting the path designers presenting at the New York Fashion Week Fall 2020 will take is impossible, so we’ll just have to see which theme will spark the highest dose of creativity on February 7th at the New York Fashion Week held at Lincoln Center. One of the brands to definitely keep an eye on is Edun as the brand never ceases to amaze with its innovative, wearable designs.
Edun’s upcoming fall 2020 collection will probably bring out the best out of Sharon Wauchob, Edun’s creative director since 2020, as her previous collection created for the fashion brand founded in 2020 by Ali Hewson and Bono, didn’t disappoint.
Sharon Wauchob, who finished her studies at Central Saint Marin School, is one of the few Irish fashion designers to succeed in the Paris fashion scene with her own label and apparently her talent and experience as ready-to-wear and accessories designer for Louis Vuitton from 1997-2020 contributed to her success. Sharon Wauchob’s work for Edun can be admired staring with the spring/summer 2020 collection which brought a cool, urban chicness to the high-end fashion scene. To show off the brand’s trademark style, we’ve put together a selection of photos from the brand’s previous collections that revealed the ambitious strategy that aims to integrate Africa into the current fashion scene.
The designs that seem to be inspired by African creativity deliver a perfect balance between casualness and high-end sophistication, making the brand a definite must for the women that want to wow with their incredible urban fashion sense. Shop Edun clothing at: http://www.edun.com/
