Gucci at Milan Fashion Week fall 2020 is one of the Italian fashion shows that will showcase the new fall 2020 trends during fashion month which kicks off on Wednesday February 20. Gucci is definitely one of the world’s most renowned fashion brands due to its already legendary Italian craftsmanship and quality and its exclusive products offered through a selected network of stores.
We hardly wait for Milan Fashion Week 2020 to finally begin! Ah, this is the perfect opportunity for the elite of designers to show off their latest creations. And Frida Giannini is one of them! The Italian designer, who was appointed as the creative director for women’s ready-to-wear and accessories at Gucci in 2020, assumed full creative control in 2020. “I can’t imagine the next fashion show without any jewelry or bags,” Giannini said.
Frida Giannini brought a new touch at Gucci adding “freshness, joyfulness, and optimism” without forgetting the brand’s heritage. For the Gucci spring 2020 collection, one of the Roman designer’s sources of inspiration was Marakkech. “It’s not really about Morocco; it’s a continuation and a celebration of who we are, and what we do,” Giannini said.
Frida described the Gucci fall 2020 collection as being “hippie chic”. Oh, but seen through the Gucci sartorial prism! So, imagine ’70s-inspired pieces with a mesmerizing luxurious touch! For the spring 2020 Gucci collection, the designer admitted that, “I’d barely looked at the archives this season; the collection’s not really about that.” A new aesthetic could also be spotted in her fall 2020 line.
“I love to play with color for Spring,” Giannini said backstage at the Gucci spring 2020 show. And indeed, there were some beautiful vibrant hues such as bright pink, cobalt, citrus yellow, coral, and turquoise. Now, we hardly wait to see what the designer will present this year at Milan Fashion Week. Gucci at Milan Fashion Week fall 2020 will be showcased on February 20.
