The Gucci spring/summer 2020 campaign lensed by talented photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott brings models Amanda Wellsh, Tommaso De Benedictis, Luca Till Stascheit and Elisabeth Erm into the spotlight. The models unveil some of the fashion house’s coolest creations for the sunny days ahead. Once again, we get to see the most interesting sportswear/techno-inspired pieces from the new Gucci spring/summer 2020 collection, but also the cool accessories the label has prepared for the hot months ahead.
Unlike the previous seasons which focused on bringing stunning bodycon options, this season is focused on a more relaxed fit with an effortless vibe. Though the proportions have changed, the daring vibe the label is known for has remained the same. Luxurious reinterpretations of the mesh tee shirts, stunning kimono-inspired blouses and bright colored jumpsuits are just some of the options the label brings in the new Gucci spring 2020 campaign. Metallics still have a place in the new season according to the label, which uses fab metallic accents to add a decadent flair to the new looks.
Though the garments from the new Gucci campaign for spring/summer 2020 have a distinguishable sporty allure, the same is not true for the accessories. In fact, these tend to have a casual but polished allure which helps create a complex look that instantly commands attention. High heel sandals and cool loafers, fringed handbags or colorful sunglasses are among the options the label brings into the spotlight accessories-wise.
The new Gucci ad campaign for spring 2020 brings plenty of interesting ideas for those who are willing to explore sportswear influences in the new season, but without completely forgoing feminine, elegant accents in the process. It might be hard to think of sporty pieces as luxurious and even opulent, however, this is exactly the vibe the fashion house’s new creations manage to leave.
