She herself already knows a thing or two about that, being as gourmet delicious as she is cute,” Ladurée announced on their Facebook page.
The history of Ladurée began in 1862, when Louis Ernest Ladurée, a miller from southwest France, created a bakery at 16 rue Royale in Paris. This year, the renowned inventor of the double-decker macaroon celebrates its 150th anniversary. And what better way to do this than by making dreamy collaborations? After Japan’s most poetic, inventive fashion designer, Tsumori Chisato, it’s time for cute and innocent Hello Kitty to team up with the French brand.
Hello Kitty is mad about Ladurée! And so are we! Well, who could possibly resist to those absolutely amazing small, round cakes, crisp on the outside, smooth and soft in the middle? Ladurée’s “laboratory” now brings a refreshing collection of savory sweets and super-cheerful accessories using the most lovely, colorful and alluring ingredients.
