The Isabel Marant for H&M collaboration is this year’s pleasant surprise from the Swedish retailer. Just when we thought H&M’s offerings couldn’t get any better, the high-street retailer confirms this amazing news. The label pampered us with many exciting designer collaborations which always flew off the shelves whether it was the Lanvin line, the collaboration with Italian luxury label Versace or the avant-garde Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection. Despite pampering us with so many amazing offerings over the years, the label always kept fans on their toes waiting for confirmation.
The choice couldn’t have been any better if you ask us. The French designer has created a massive obsession with her uber cool wedge sneakers and her effortlessly chic ensembles. The Isabel Marant for H&M collection will bring more of the luxury label’s Parisian flair which has made so many fashionistas fall irremediably in love at first sight.
“I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honor. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality” – the designer stated.
Margareta van den Bosch, a creative advisor at H&M also highlighted the designer’s amazing ability to bring clothes fashionistas feel instantly drawn towards:
“She has a fantastic eye for ethnic detail and the rare ability to create something that people really want to wear.”
After catching a glimpse of the Isabel Marant fall 2020 RTW line, we definitely agree and hope that some of the fab modern allure of those designs will inspire the new H&M x Isabel Marant capsule collection.
The new line brings another pleasant surprise, courtesy of the renowned designer. In addition to chic clothes and accessories for women and teenagers, the designer will also create a line for men for the very first time. Though no details on pricing have been revealed yet, we suspect the price range will be among the same line as the previous designer collections. Even so, the news alone makes us wish it were November 14 already since when the new Isabel Marant x H&M collection will make its debut. Did we mention we can’t wait to see the new designs?
