The Kardashian Kids line designed for girls between 0 and 24 months will soon hit stores. The three Kardashian sisters will be unveiling the full 30-piece Kardashian Kids collection on March 15. The new line will be sold exclusively in Babies ‘R’ Us stores and online.
Though they’ve just doubled the number of items for their Lipsy spring 2020 line, the fashionable trio still found time to develop an affordable line for kids. It seems like ideas for the collection surfaced a while back, however, it was only after Kim give birth to her daughter that the new project began. The arrival of baby North West gave Kim valuable insights as to what are the crucial aspects when it comes to baby clothing, according to WWD.com. “We started this idea when Kourtney was pregnant with Penelope. It was mainly Kourtney who was the inspiration, but as I got pregnant, I started to chime in. Until you have your own child, you don’t realize how important it is for fabrics to be extra soft and accessible,” Kim stated.
Kourtney Kardashian gained many of the same insights after making some mistakes in the beginning: “I used to do the buying for the store, and I had no idea what was practical. Now I know what mothers are looking for. And shopping for my kids is way more fun than shopping for myself.”
Even Khloe pitched in, although her practical experience with babies is limited to her role as aunt, explaining that there’s more to the baby clothing design than meets the eye:
“It’s more complicated designing baby clothes than you would think. A lot of things can get cheesy or cheap-looking really fast. It’s mainly about finding baby-friendly fabrics and things you want to put your child in or give as gifts.”
The Kardashian Kids line features a multitude of cute pieces displaying on trend elements such as georgette appliques, gold embroidery, polka dots, peplum details, butterfly prints as well as the Kardashian’s sisters favorite animal prints. The options from the new line will retail for prices between $14.99 to $29.99.
