After the Spring/Summer 2020 oh-so-sexy ad campaign, it seems that Kate Moss‘ collaboration with Liu Jo continues for the brand’s latest collections. Lensed by famous photographer Mario Sorrenti, the gorgeous supermodel strikes a pose for Liu Jo’s fall/winter 2020-2020 ad campaign, sporting elegant ensembles, but also stylish denim pieces from the Italian label’s Jeans and Bottom-Up collections. The ads were shot in London in an old English villa in Notting Hill.
“Besides her remarkable beauty, charisma and her ability to stand out in a photo, Kate Moss is an opinion leader, an undisputable style icon. We wanted Kate as our spokesperson for so long, I think she has an image that is very much in synch with our brand. And I’m really proud of having her. She’s becoming even more magnetic as the interpret of our campaigns. Having a worldwide spokesperson like Kate allows us to obtain an extraordinary visibility: we’re setting out all our cards and we still want to evolve,” said Marco Marchi, owner and head of style of Liu Jo.
One of the main themes of the Liu Jo fall/winter 2020-2020 collection features floral prints and patterns. The color palette reminds us of ‘d’après nature’ painters and it includes neutrals and dark tones. Timeless black and sepia are beautifully mixed with lighter hues like elephant skin and rain. You can also notice flowers on brooches and buttons. There are simple lines and soft, comfy fabrics, but also precious materials used for tops, dresses and tunics.
The second theme is ‘Cavalry deluxe’, characterizing the dynamic woman through cold neutral hues of gray, sepia, but also through touches of red and alga green. ‘Smoking Attitude’ is the third theme of the Liu Jo collection and brings an elegant vibe due to its unique interpretation of the classic tuxedos. Another theme, called ‘Shabby Chic’, adds a bohemian touch to the line through flowing volumes, mixes of colors and patterns, and embroideries. The color palette contains shades of beige, cold pink, turtle gray, champagne, cappucino, light coffee, dust rode, or dark moka.
As for the Liu Jo Fall/Winter 2020-2020 Jeans collection, this addresses to daring fashionistas who are not afraid to stand out from the crowd, sporting original and nonchalant outfits. Both tough and romantic, the line features versatile denim pieces, appropriate for both daytime and evening wear. The Bottom-Up collection has different flattering fits in order to match all kinds of silhouettes. For fall 2020, the brand brings 48 models characterized by 16 different washes, two of which being continuous.
