Kate Moss Shares Style Tips with The Telegraph UK

Kate Moss sits down for a chat and shares some style tips with The Telegraph UK. Speaking about her favorite key pieces, the gorgeous model says that, “If you find a look that works for you, stick to it. I’m at my most comfortable in jeans and a blazer, and I’m not afraid of wearing different cuts of denim. I love skinny jeans but I’m feeling a flare at the moment – I’m really liking a wide leg. The pencil skirt is one of the most useful items to have in your wardrobe as it’s always saucy (especially in black) and seems to work for almost everyone.”

Kate’s advice is to always dress depending on mood. “If you’re going to an important dinner, you should plan what you’re going to wear as you don’t want to look silly. If I’m going to an event I make sure I plan ahead so that I don’t have a fashion crisis. However, most of the time I dress depending on my mood. I just throw on whatever I feel like wearing at the time, which tends to come from the palette of black, grey or red. If I’m having an off day, I’ll wear full black,” she told The Telegraph.

Famous for her unique style and the ability to pull off effortlessly chic and outstanding ensembles, Kate says that when it comes to fashion, attitude is crucial.

“It’s often only other people who notice you have a signature style. I don’t think I’ve got one, though other people tell me I do. But it doesn’t matter; even if you do tend to wear the same things all the time, it’s how you wear them and your attitude that counts. Dressing is like modelling – you can constantly adapt and change,” the stunning model explains.

What about accessories? Moss believes in their power to change a look, yet she says that exaggerating can totally ruin your appearance. “It’s important to accessorise and I always turn to the scarves, hats and sunglasses in my wardrobe. But wearing too many accessories at once can look very bad. I don’t have any strict rules, but my husband does say not to wear a hat with glasses because I look as if I’m trying to wear a disguise. I always have a pair of Ray-Bans in my bag and lots of pairs at home because they seem to go missing. They’re a real staple. And jewellery? I don’t think you can ever have too much,” Kate says.
