Katie Holmes was chosen by MaxMara for their “2020 Women In Film Max Mara ‘Face of the Future’ Award”. The gorgeous 32-year-old actress who was absolutely thrilled with the honor was chosen as she is the perfect reflection of the MaxMara customer.
“Katie’s style is chic and modern, it equates with the Max Mara style because it gives you confidence so you look good in anything. No matter what you’re doing you don’t have to worry about how you look,” said Ian Griffiths, Head of Design Style for the brand.
In February, Katie and her mom, Kathleen, traveled to Milan Fashion Week for the brand’s catwalk presentation. The young actress said that she is extremely excited and honored as she adores the label which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
“Their clothes are so comfortable and beautifully made, I love wearing them. I’m so excited to be here at Milan Fashion Week, this is my first time. I haven’t been shopping yet but I will sneak in some time to shop,” Katie said.
This special award is given annually by the legendary fashion label as a recognition of style, talent and the recipient’s contribution to the community. Katie will receive the award in June during a gala in Beverly Hills.
In 2020, the “Avatar” star Zoe Saldana has been named the “Face of the Future” by MaxMara, while one year earlier, actress Elizabeth Banks was honored as Women In Film, MaxMara “Face of the Future” 2020. Other past recipients were Ginnifer Goodwin and Emily Blunt.
