Luisa Beccaria’s fall 2020 collection presented during Milan Fashion Week brought back the glamor and timeless chicness of 1930s fashion trends and apparently the all-feminine details oriented fashion designer found her inspiration while browsing through the paintings of Federico Beltrán Masses, a Spanish painter known for his exquisitely colored paintings featuring seductive women.
The painter’s artistic interpretation of women from the 1930s inspired Luisa Beccaria to take classic lines and old-Hollywood glamor details and bring them back to their glory days reason for which her vision of the romantic modern day fashionista has a certain old-cinema star flare but nothing to overwhelming – which we love – as going too close to the true lines can be a bit boring from a contemporary point of view.
For the upcoming season, Luisa Beccaria chose to focus on daywear as well as eveningwear, meaning fashion enthusiasts will be able to adapt their attire effortlessly according to occasion without having to switch brands. The lineup debuted with a pajama-inspired long satin-finish dress paired with a stylish midnight blue coat. Next an array of lace detail dresses, soft pilssé details and pretty macramés displayed on midi to maxi dresses made their way to the podium and cut the audience’s breath away with their chicness.
Stylish skirt separates and lovely coats also made their presence felt in the lineup, underlining the casual-business chic side of the collection while the heavy display of dresses including cocktail dresses and glam embroidery gowns signaled the focus put on special occasion garments capable of making jaws drop. The dresses revealed in the collection featured impressively diverse lines, ranging from lace, form fitting midis to long sleeve bias-cut column dresses to A-line designs and full-skirt, princess-gowns, all displayed in 1930s popular shades that ranged from midnight blue to black, gray, teal, green, blue tones and gold shades, pigments that matched perfectly the elegant, timeless chicness of the cuts displayed throughout the collection.
The honeys looking to upgrade their style with chic, feminine and refined cuts that pack a high romantic vibe will have a blast browsing through Luisa Beccaria’s fall 2020 collection presented at Milan Fashion Week, so take a peek at the highlights of the collection and pick the outfits that can turn you into a total style icon this fall!
