Miranda Kerr Named Mango’s New Face

Miranda Kerr has been named as the new face of Mango. The stunning Australian model is taking over from her predecessor Kate Moss and will be the brand’s new ambassador for the spring/summer 2020 campaign. “I am delighted to be collaborating with Mango for the spring/summer 2020 season. We had a great time shooting the campaign and it was very easy working with the entire team. What’s more, Mango is a brand that I love. You always find the perfect garment for every occasion,” Miranda said.

The photo shoot for Mango’s spring/summer 2020 advertising campaign took place in New York in mid November and was made by famous fashion photography duo, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The excellent team also included stylist Géraldine Saglio, make-up artist Lisa Butler and hairdresser Christiaan Houtenbos.

Miranda’s resume is pretty impressive when it comes to her previous collaborations. The 29-year-old Aussie model and Victoria’s Secret Angel also appeared in campaigns for Maybelline New York and Levi’s. Kerr’s enviable silhouette is the result of a healthy lifestyle and regular yoga and Pilates classes. “I live by the 80/20 rule: I’m 80 per cent healthy, and then 20 per cent indulgent,” the supermodel said in the October 2020 issue of Marie Claire Australia.

Mango’s previous ambassadors included beautiful actresses Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz and Diane Kruger and supermodels Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer. The Spanish high street chain also announced Kylie Minogue’s boyfriend Andrés Velencoso as the new face of its H.E by Mango range, taking over from FC Barcelona footballer Gerard Piqué.
