The Miu Miu resort 2020 campaign brings Parisian actresses Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos into the spotlight. The two have starred in the controversial “Blue Is the Warmest Color” movie that won the Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or this year and have put their skills to work to bring the luxury label’s coolest alternatives into the spotlight.
The Miu Miu resort 2020 ads were shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The label’s representatives are apparently very pleased of how things turned out:“Five flirtatious compositions capture their candid chemistry: an arm casually slung over a shoulder, leaning together in a mirrored pose, casually reclined across each other on the floor. The background wall in baby pink and girlish styling of the collection contrast with the actresses’ seductive presence.”
The new Miu Miu campaign might not offer a lot of outfit ideas, but it sure brings plenty of cool pieces into the spotlight. The campaign brings a series of romantic elements through floral printed jackets and cropped tops, flirty dresses and skirts, however, the label didn’t adopt the typical, sweet innocent vibe entirely as it balanced the looks with the help of a few cool biker bags. According to the label, the new biker bags are made out of nappa leather, feature bold color combinations and exposed zippers which give them a cool edgy flair. These cool handbags are already available in the brand’s stores. No less cute are the chic pumps with a feminine, sophisticated allure.
The Miu Miu pre-spring 2020 campaign also offers plenty of cool ideas when it comes to mixing and matching different motifs and colors without making any faux pas. If you’re a fan of complex combos, these ideas are definitely worth considering. These gorgeous alternatives won’t be the only cool thing the new year will bring. The label will also begin working alongside Coty Inc. to develop its first fragrance which is expected to make its debut in 2020.
