Hollywood’s hottest entertainers heated the MTV Movie Awards 2020 red carpet, bringing surprising choices and putting their own spin on this season’s hottest trends. Unlike other awards where sophisticated eveningwear is the norm, the MTV Movie Awards edition, held at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday abounded in chic youthful options with an effortlessly chic flair. Here are the style choices that managed to steal the spotlight at this year’s MTV Movie Awards:
The fun thing about Rihanna’s red carpet choices is that they are always unpredictable and sexy. This time, the singer chose a boudoir-inspired ensemble. She opted for an Ulyana Sergeenko bustier and robe which showed off her toned legs and had a generous cleavage. She accessorized her look with white Manolo Blahnik sandals, a Vieri necklace, and Neil Lane and Ana Khouri earrings and rings.
Hollywood’s It girl, Lupita Nyong’o’s MTV Movie Awards 2020 choice was simple but brilliant. Her colorful Chanel dress paired with stunning blue pointy toe Casadei pumps proved a modern and classy look that still looked extremely sexy. Discreet Vita Fede rings and earrings completed her look.
One of the most surprising presences on the red carpet proved to be Nicki Minaj, not because she opted for a fun and crazy outfit, but because she went in the opposite direction. She opted for skintight black Alexander McQueen dress with fairly discreet sheer panels. While her dress was on the understated side, her bold gold jewelry balanced her look revealing her bold personality.
Singer Rita Ora chose a floor length black Barbara Casasola dress with an ample cleavage for the occasion, which she accessorized with a modern Edie Parker clutch and chic Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
‘Divergent’ star Shailene Woodley opted for a bolder look than usual and stole the spotlight in a olive green ensemble and sexy black sandals all designed by Balmain and chic gold David Yurman hoop earrings.
‘Teen Wolf’ star Holland Roden opted for a similarly modern look and stole the spotlight with her form-fitting Salvatore Ferragamo dress paired with a chic matching clutch from the same label. The focal point of her outfit however, proved to be her fuchsia Brian Atwood pumps.
Another gorgeous MTV Movie Awards 2020 fashion choice proved to be Jessica Alba’s look which consisted of Piece D’ white bandeau top, a flirty high waist Kenzo skirt, sexy abstract print Jimmy Choo shoes and a black Narciso Rodriguez clutch.
Victoria Justice was another star that looked amazing on the MTV Movie Awards 2020 red carpet. The young starlet shined in a short Atelier Versace dress paired with metallic Brian Atwood peep toe shoes, a silver boxy Edie Parker clutch, and Kami Lerner and ELAHN jewels.
Versace also proved a great choice for actress Bella Thorne who chose a lovely icy blue short gown, metallic Jimmy Choo sandals and clutch, and Anita Ko jewelry for the occasion.
Mila Kunis and Kate Upton both went with a safe choice: the little black dress. The American model upgraded her custom Versace dress with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and belt for a modern flair. On the other hand, the ‘Oz: The Great and Powerful’ star kept things simple and opted for a Thakoon dress paired with simple Saint Laurent shoes, and Gemfields jewelry.
Ellie Goulding opted for a simple, long white Giorgio Armani dress which she paired with Jimmy Choo black sandals, Finn earrings, Lynn Bann bracelets and ring.
Debby Ryan opted for a classy one shouldered black Rachel Zoe jumpsuit for the event completing her look with Renvi jewelry and Aperlai shoes.
