The Nicole Scherzinger x Missguided collection is almost here! The X Factor Judge decided to work with the British e-tailer, which celebrates 5 years in business, because, according to her own admission, she is a big fan: “I’m so excited to be collaborating with Missguided! I’ve worn their clothes in the past, as I’m a big fan! This is my first time designing my own collection and I can’t imagine a more perfect fit than Missguided”, she stated a while back.
There was another reason why she decided to create affordable clothes rather than more expensive options. She believes that any piece has the potential to look amazing if it’s styled right: ”I’m appealing to my fan base. In your everyday life, it’s nice to have clothes that don’t exclude anybody; I really wanted it to be attainable. So many times, people won’t realise I’m wearing a £20 dress. If it’s done right and you make it look sassy but chic and dress it in the right way, you can make it look a million bucks.”
Sassy and chic are indeed two qualities that seemed to have shaped the options from the new Nicole Scherzinger x Missguided line. The former Pussycat Dolls member has focused her attention mainly on sultry bodycon pieces with a seductive vibe. The star seems to love bodycon cutout dresses and sexy jumpsuits with cool faux leather accents as she dedicated a significant part of the new campaign shot in Maldive to them.
Apparently, the singer keeps a close eye on the hottest new season trends, as she also included plenty of pieces with cool sportswear influences such as cropped tops and sporty dresses featuring mesh panels. The diva preferred to keep things simple color-wise opting for black, white and electric blue hues for the project.
The Nicole Scherzinger x Missguided collection will be available starting with March 11 exclusively on Missguided.com. As previously mentioned, the pieces from the new line will likely not make a big dent in your budget this spring as they retail for prices between £15 and £50.
