The Peter Pilotto for Target lookbook is here! Ever since the exciting collaboration was announced at Peter Pilotto’s spring 2020 show, fans of the brand have been anxiously awaiting for a preview of the new line, which will be hitting Target stores and Net-a-Porter.com starting with February 9, and as expected, the label didn’t disappoint. All of the pieces included in the new line carry the label’s signature: vibrant prints mixed artfully for a strong statement every single time.
For designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, the new Peter Pilotto for Target collection is a great opportunity to present their eclectic pieces to a new audience and to make them more affordable for their increasingly larger fan base: “By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience”, Peter Pilotto stated while De Vos added that “This is a pivotal moment for our brand. Our collection for Target embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line but makes it accessible to everyone.”
The new line brings a cool mix of feminine pieces and more casual sporty ones with a fun tomboyish flair. The new Peter Pilotto for Target collection features a multitude of summer essentials like cool sneakers, chic textured shorts, beach towels, tote bags, sunglasses and swimwear, but also brings elegant dresses and attention grabbing separates which can prove a great choice for slightly more formal events.
Peter Pilotto’s collection for Target features no less than 70 pieces, with prices ranging from $15 to $80 for clothing and from $17 to $40 for accessories. If your heart is set on any of these pieces, you should know that the vast majority of the pieces will be sold in Target stores and only a curated selection of the limited edition designs will be available on Net-a-Porter.com, so be sure to make your shopping strategy accordingly as the new line will definitely be a hit among fashionistas and thus being bound to sell out very, very fast.
