From eclectic prints to modern ensembles with a sultry and edgy vibe, the first shows from PFW brought plenty of interesting sartorial choices that have the power to shape up the new season trends significantly. PFW Fall 2020: Balenciaga Fall 2020 RTW Collection
The Balenciaga fall 2020 collection brought a variety of boxy, sporty ensembles into the spotlight. In many respects, the new line seems like a continuation of his spring 2020 collection for Balenciaga, especially silhouette-wise.
The designer unveiled several cool statement belted coats with a strong masculine flair, sharply tailored dresses with a modern vibe, many leather pieces with an edgy twist and cool accessories in versatile tones. PFW Fall 2020: Guy Laroche Fall 2020 RTW Collection
Designer Marcel Marongiu based the new Guy Laroche fall 2020 collection around army green, teal, brown and black. This season, he decided to explore more feminine details to balance out the masculine allure of the boxy shirts, tailored coats and lacquered leather jackets he put forward. With this idea in mind, he brought a variety of stunning skirts, chic pleated dresses and even a few elegant gowns into the spotlight. PFW Fall 2020: Anthony Vaccarello Fall 2020 RTW Collection
The Anthony Vaccarello fall 2020 collection revolved around sexy ensembles with a modern twist. The designer preferred to stick with things he knows best so the new line featured a multitude of sexy black leather dresses, edgy moto jackets and shearling lined coats in dark tones with only a few colorful accents of silver or red. Given the high emphasis on head-turning pieces with a daring vibe, the combos were kept simple and the accessories were kept at a minimum. PFW Fall 2020: Dries van Noten Fall 2020 RTW Collection
“Unexpected elegance, bright colors, two-dimensional flowers, chic shoes — and Bridget Riley” were among the sources of inspiration that defined the striking Dries van Noten fall 2020 collection. Stunning geometric patterns which created interesting illusions, fabulous floral motifs and eye-catching metallic tones were among the elements spotted in the brand’s new lineup which successfully blended masculine and feminine options for an impressive effect. PFW Fall 2020: Carven Fall 2020 RTW Collection
Feminine and masculine ensembles were beautifully blended in the new Carven fall 2020 collection. The label focused on bringing classy and practical options for the new season in vibrant tones and with many eclectic patterns, ranging from animal prints to abstract and graphic motifs. Chic long-sleeved dresses and modern tailored coats proved to be the label’s coolest highlights from the new line.
