The Rachel Zoe pre-fall 2020 collection features several interesting options with a bohemian flair. This time, the source of inspiration behind the new range was London’s Carnaby Street. The designer, who recently welcomed her second son, took quite a few style cues from menswear alternatives and transformed them by putting a ’60s spin on them. The inspiration from the 60s rock ‘n’ roll scene might be easily distinguishable, however, the new line has a contemporary allure first and foremost.
The Rachel Zoe pre-fall 2020 collection features a multitude of stunning low slung wide-leg trousers, shift dresses and stunning jackets all of which are combined cleverly for an effortlessly cool effect. Though fans of the brand know that owning most Rachel Zoe items can set one back a pretty penny, the label will be introducing a few cashmere basics which will be retailing for less than $350, which is definitely a good news for fashionistas who are on the lookout for chic basics that will serve as a base for a multitude of stunning looks.
Though some pieces like jumpsuits give a nice vintage feel to the new Rachel Zoe pre-fall 2020 line, the vintage vibes found in the new line are mostly visible at a pattern level where we find plenty of geometric and abstract accents. Gorgeous patterns with an easily distinguishable bohemian flair which leave no doubt as to what was the decade that inspired the looks were also spotted in the new fashion collection. The vintage inspiration is also visible when it comes to accessories. Round frame sunglasses are perhaps one of the strongest retro accents found in the new line.
A single look at the new Rachel Zoe pre-fall 2020 collection is enough to realize that the designer is choosing once again to stay well within her style comfort zone and continue in the same direction as in the previous season. It remains to be seen whether her loyal clientele will receive the new line well and whether she’ll be trying something different in the near future.
