It’s almost a given: femininity is the buzzword for the next season and the interpretations will be as diverse as they can get. Taking at look at the Rodarte spring 2020 collection we cannot help but notice the luxurious yet deceivingly accessible touch the outfits presented carry. The presentation has surely captured enough attention judging by the several A-list celebrities that have been present at the event during New York Fashion Week.
Unlike many of the fashion houses that have taken inspiration from nature, Rodarte duo used Van Gogh’s artistic creations in order to dazzle in the upcoming season. With highly structured and well defined touches, the entire collection has a subtle geometric vibe attached to it. Capris and mid length skirts and dresses will be some of the must haves in the upcoming seasons if we are to subscribe to the brand’s vision. Drapes, flowy dresses and metallic accents are some of the trends that also stood out in the collection.
The brand’s eclectic vision is certainly not for everyone, yet it will be interesting to see whether artistic touches in the manner presented by the brand will catch on among celebrities and the general public. Meanwhile, with all casual meets elegant outfit suggestions available, we’ll have plenty of time to decide how to glam up our look and give it an original vibe.
