Perhaps one of the most creative and beautiful things we can see in fashion is a brand new designer who, after working and gathering knowledge and experience in already famous fashion houses, decides to take the problem in his own hands and create a line of his own.
This just might be as well the case of Stefano Marcantonio who, after working at William Morris Agency back in Los Angeles, has decided that the world of fashion needs no more and no less than his line of handbags.
Manufactured in the same place as Armani Prive and Chanel, Stefano Marcantonio’s handbags are made of precious skins, like alligator, ostrich and python, a sign of great importance, that Marcantonio values a lot every handbags past. Named after 17th century powerful princess and queens, the Stefano Marcantonio handbags are inspired from autumnal colors, starting with beige, musk green, ochre, dark red and smoky grey colors.
We loved several designs, just like The Janetta, a bucket shopper made from metallic python with brass hardware and zip pockets inside, or The Soraya, a beautiful clutch hand-crafted from cobalt blue ostrich with solid brass hardware. It features a link shoulder chain with cotton-silk signature jacquard print lining and zip pockets.
The Claire is another gorgeous handbag signed Stefano Marcantonio, made from pearlized alligator, and with solid brass hardware, a link shoulder chain with an interior made of blended cotton and silk.
The Libertine is made from soft calf leather with alligator trim and has gusset sides with interior zip pockets and brass hardware detail, while The Rake is a gorgeous black folder bag, handy in day by day use, which comes with a hand-strap and an adjustable/detachable strap. Inside are multiple folios and zipper pockets.
