As Stella now knows, after her previous experience with designing eyewear collections back at Chloé in ’97, when it comes to sunglasses, it’s “important to make lightweight, comfortable sunglasses that are not a chore or cumbersome to wear.”
So, she teamed up with Milan-based eyewear manufacturer Luxottica (who also licenses eyewear for Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Prada), and now Stella McCartney’s sunglass collection for spring 2020 is ready to go!
With prices ranging from $180 to $250, Stella McCartney’s collection speaks only in high adjectives when it comes to sunglasses: they are beautiful, sleek, simple and sophisticated. Her pieces are timeless, though they feel edgier, younger and eye-catching.
