Days after Kim and Kanye’s engagement was announced, a possible wedding dress sketch for Kim Kardashian was already unveiled. Boy, things sure happen fast in the world of the rich and famous! Theia creative director, Don O’ Neill, has already come up with a sketch, drawn just hours after the big engagement news came out. It should come as no surprise, considering the fact that designers have showered baby North with attention and gifts ever since she came into the world, basically.
Since word has it that the upcoming wedding is “going to be huge”, it’s no wonder designers are already coming up with suggestions to ensure that Kim’s wedding dress will be just as grandiose as the upcoming ceremony. There’s still no exact date announced yet, however rumors say it won’t happen at least until summer.
According to Theia’s designer, the strapless mermaid style wedding dress was chosen to fit and flatter the star’s body perfectly: “I chose this silhouette as it will flatter her amazing curves and fit like a second skin. It has lavish attention to detail with its intricate Swarovski crystal, silver lined glass bead embroidery and miniature handmade silk flowers. It’s a confection of silk organza but on a simple and dramatic silhouette. The crystal and handmade silk organza flowers and petals create rich texture on the bodice flowing down to the dramatic mermaid skirt.”
In short, it’s magnificent and opulent and very suitable for a woman who has made her love of glamor no secret. Since for her last wedding she opted for three white wedding dresses, she might be willing to explore other color choices this time around. In case she does, the designer will be more than happy to fullfill her vision: “Having gone the traditional route with her last wedding, she can now feel free to try color. This skirt has a blush pink lining, and the ivory flowers on the skirt are delicately tipped with blush pink,” he stated.
Regardless of what the new mom chooses, we’re quite sure ‘extravagant’ will be the best word to describe it.
