The new Vanessa Bruno fall 2020 collection, showcased at Paris Fashion Week, brought, as usual, stylishly wearable goodies. Bruno, who is famous for her designs oozing an understated elegance, delivers loads of realistic silhouettes and effortlessly chic cuts.
“But I didn’t want it to be too girly,” the renowned designer said. “For me it’s about seeing girls in my clothes. The mood is laidback chic, there’s androgyny and an edge and a touch of the belle du jour,” Vanessa Bruno explained backstage after the show. “And theres’s a little bit of the Sixties too.”
So, are you gorgeous dolls ready for some seriously voguish outfits? Well, just check out the latest Vanessa Bruno fall 2020 collection from Paris Fashion Week! Why? Because it’s filled with sophisticated designs that beautifully combine androgynous shapes with some head-turning feminine pieces.
Okay, so one thing it’s certain: the already legendary androgynous trend is still going strong. And boy oh boy, there was an array of statement-making sharp lines featuring mannish silhouettes for fall 2020. And Vanessa Bruno’s collection is one of them. The Paris-based designer delivered pieces for girls who love to stand out from the crowd and stay one step ahead of the boys. There were loose suits worn with crisp white shirts as well as masculine-inspired items teamed with feminine ones. So, imagine wearing your relaxed boyfriend blazer with a shirt, a pleat skirt and killer heels.
Still, besides the posh and tough borrowed-from-the-guys looks, Vanessa Bruno’s fall 2020 collection also included chic, slightly girly combos. There were plissé skirts and dresses with embroideries à la Art Deco adding the feminine side of the line. The color palette featured mostly black and white yet it was spiced up with eye-catching prints and traffic-stopping details.
