Take one legendary Italian fashion house and one of the most famous high street retailers in the world and you’ll get the hottest and most irresistible collaboration of the moment. Main ingredients? Dazzling colors, exuberant prints, gold and silver, classic pieces reinvented for the younger audience, eye-catching leggings, amazing accessories, lots of sequins, sexy, feminine silhouettes, and the iconic Miami print made famous by Gianni Versace.
Speaking about their collaboration with H&M, Donatella Versace said that, “The collection for H&M is the essence of Versace. For the collaboration we’ve brought back from the archives, as well as from more recent collections, some of the icons of Versace, such as the bright prints, the Greek key and daring cuts. I can’t wait to see how H&M’s wide audience will make these pieces their own.”
Now, the long awaited full lookbook was finally released featuring top model Abbey Lee Kershaw. The new Versace for H&M limited edition collection that includes a parade of pieces for women, men and home will be launched on November 17 in 300 stores worldwide, as well as online. The line will be followed by an exclusive pre-Spring collection for H&M set to be released online on January 19, 2020.
“Versace’s collection for H&M is a moment in fashion. It is full of strong pieces that stand out with colours, prints and cuts that are clean and precise. The women’s collection is flattering and full of dresses, while the men’s collection is very sophisticated. When I think about Versace I think of iconic items. With this collection for H&M we’ve got the essence of Versace,” Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M stated.
