Versace Spring 2020 – Milan Fashion Week

Clean lines, subtle golden embellishments and a desire to highlight “The meeting of old and new Versace,” as Donatella Versace herself has put it became instantly recognizable during the Versace show from the Milan Fashion Week.

Seduction and glamor were fabulously represented in a myriad of classy dresses and short skirts with a marine life inspiration reflected both in terms of prints and textures. Pastel tones dominate in terms of color, offering a perfect balance between seductiveness and a sense of opulence and a feeling of understated elegance.

High splits are one of the style trends endorsed by the brand that have the potential to become mainstream style influences off the runways in the upcoming months. Although not particularly fitted, the dresses place a fairly high emphasis on the waist in order to create the perfect hourglass shape. Taking a look at accessories we immediately notice that they are kept at a minimum. However, when it comes to footwear trend, the strappy platform sandals are a fabulous stylish alternative with a great potential to become a must-have.
