Scarves are considered one of the must-have accessories because of the endless possibilities they offer in adding the finishing touch to your outfits.
Scarves come in a variety of shapes, sizes and fabrics depending on how and what they are used for.
The ways that a scarf can be worn are numerous and here are a few examples on how to diversify the way you wear your scarf – placed around your neck a scarf can be worn in so many ways depending on the way that it is tied.
You can do Ascot Knot, Buckaroo Knot, European Loop, Neck Wrap, Butterfly Wrap, etc.
Head coverings
You can cover your head with a silky or cotton scarf and tie it in the back or on the side. You fold the scarf into a triangle and place it on your head. Knot and twist the ends together. Circle the twist around the knot and secure the ends under the scarf.
The Kelly wrap
Using a square scarf fold it into a triangle. Place the scarf on the head , take the folded corners and cross them under the chin. Bring the folded corners until the back of the neck and make a knot. Put the loose part of the scarf under the knot.
Knotted Belt
Using a bias-band folded square scarf or an oblong folded scarf place the scarf through the belt loop of your pants or skirt. Make sure the ends of the scarf are equal in length and tie a double knot.
Using a scarf you can tie it around the ponytail. You can leave the ends as they are or make a bow or just twist them around and secure the ends under the knot.
Wrap it around your shoulders using a folded scarf shaped as a triangle. Take the ends and flip them over another and make a knot.
