Wes Gordon’s vision for spring/summer 2020 is all about vintage details that bring a high amount of joy and attitude along with every single piece. Inspired by a photo of his sister, Wes Gordon took his ideas to the drawing sheets and gave life to an extraordinary fashion collection that is both down to earth, wearable and bold, collection presented at the New York Fashion Week.
Newcomer designer Wes Gordon wanted to create a casual yet luxurious fashion collection that had something to tell, more precisely a story that inspires and that has the ability to combine sophistication with classic lines with a modern vibe. The young designer told WWD that his idea was to create something that suits youthful girls. He said: “It’s the idea of how to make luxury relevant to the girls who are my peers — I’m 25…We did that with color, with beautiful fabrics, with separates.”
The designs have a visible vintage vibe attached yet twisted to suit the contemporary scene. Perfectly balanced lines accentuated with amazing fabrics and splashes of color make all the difference and Wes Gordon took things to another level by giving a collection a youthful, fresh and wearable look that girls can relate to without loosing their femininity and style. Double-faced cropped jackets, stylish floor length, midi and mini dresses, stylish pants ensembles, wide leg pants and feminine tops accessorized with colored waistbands, embroidery and lace details and many other impressive accents make you want to cheer, so take a peek at the collection and let yourself be impressed.
