The Zac Posen pre-fall 2020 collection is filled with red carpet ready ensembles that ooze femininity and sophistication. The designer’s creations are a wonderful selection of stunning ensembles with a romantic flair. Speaking about the latest Zac Posen 2020 collection, the designer stated that: “The collection reflects a renewed interest in the silhouette, one that reveals a softness and sense of grandeur, but also speaks to the refinement that defines modern American glamour.”
Indeed, when it comes to making women feel glamorous, the label always seems to bring covetable dresses which can easily become the object of a woman’s obsession. As always, evening dresses are the area where the label excels. Swoon-worthy volumes, strong architectural accents, gorgeous tones and exquisite craftsmanship are once again the elements which steal the spotlight. The brand opted for an interesting palette of intense jewel tones like amethyst and strong neutrals, with a couple of light toned pieces for contrast. Among the fabrics preferred are satin and organza. Bias cut dresses were one of the styles that dominated the new line.
If as far as cocktail and evening gowns the designer spared no effort when it came to details or proportions, when it came to daywear, a more subtle perspective was adopted. This doesn’t mean, however, that the construction was any less precise. Tweed jackets, chic pencil skirts and chic wide leg pants were some of the options that dominated when it came to daywear. Though the elegant dresses part of the collection was unapologetically feminine, menswear influences were easily spotted in the more practical section of the new Zac Posen pre-fall 2020 collection.
Each of the combos presented in the new Zac Posen pre-fall 2020 line were memorable and dramatic which is why accessories, when used, are kept on a subtle side. Discreet jewelry pieces were the best match for the new elegant ensembles the luxury label brought into the spotlight!
