The L’Wren Scott for Banana Republic collection will only be out next month, however, some of the pieces have already been unveiled. We’ve seen a few sketches and a teaser in July, back when the collaboration was first announced, but nothing compares to seeing the new options worn by real models. As promised, the designer brought sophisticated offerings with a rock ‘n’ roll vibe for her 50- piece Banana Republic holiday 2020 collection.
The line features a multitude of chic options: sequined party dresses, chic printed blouses, colorful pants, sophisticated blazers and colorful accessories. It turns out the instincts of Banana Republic’s creative director and executive vice president of design, Simon Kneen, were right: “L’Wren really understands what a woman loves and wants to wear. Her knack for bringing imaginative versatility and femininity to classic design is something that immediately brought us together as creatives,” he stated.
Indeed, the outfits from new L’Wren Scott for Banana Republic collection, which will be available for sale starting with December 5 at select Banana Republic locations and online, have the many qualities women look for: they’re fashionable, feminine and sophisticated, they attract attention without being too conspicuous and are perfectly accessorized. Plus, the designer did her best not to sacrifice quality. Instead, she gladly took the challenge of making amazing clothing and chic accessories at an affordable price range, while still honoring the sporty accents that define the label’s creations.
Speaking of prices, it’s useful to know that the new apparel items and accessories from the L’Wren Scott x Banana Republic line will retail for prices between $39.50 (£26.50) and $198 (£132.90). Interestingly enough, the most expensive options from the new line are in the accessories category. The most expensive apparel option is a fluted dress ($165).
Are you tempted by any of these options?
