Tips and Suggestions:
1. Never over-mix the batter as the cake will be dense and not soft.
2. You can add dry fruits for a richer appeal. If you are adding dry fruits, toss the dry fruits in about 3 tbsp flour and fold it gently just before transferring the batter to the pan.
3. Allow the cake to cool completely if you are planning to frost it. You can bake the cake the previous day to ensure that it cools completely.
4. Allow all the ingredients to come at room temperature before baking.
5. Want to give it a chocolaty touch? Mix two teaspoons cocoa powder in a little milk and add to the batter just before the final stage and give a quick mix.
