Gucci Spring 2020 Collection

The spring 2020 season inspired Gucci designer, Frida Giannini to go wild with color and explore the vast range of vibrant hues that mesmerize with their beauty with bright pink, fuchsia, coral turquoise and royal blue tones as well as bright yellow tones and cool monochromes. So far, nothing surprising, as the brand on numerous occasions has put on display its love for color, but it seems that the patterns that were chosen to go along with these vibrant colors were actually the ones that gave the collection a distinct feel.

Apparently, Frida Giannini’s vision for the spring 2020 Gucci girl had everything do to with the late 60s and early 70s, two periods that were known for the elongated silhouettes and clean chic lines that flattered the shape of the body while providing plenty of comfort due to the forms that glided around the body, gently caressing its curvy form.

The combo of clean, flowing lines paired with vibrant hues that enhanced the peepers of the audience present at the unveiling of the collection in Milan created a positive, feel-good vibe that the designer called ‘aristographic’, this according to ifashionstyles.com. Gucci’s spring 2020 collection made its debut featuring a cool red-pink deux-piece composed out of a classic pair of pants that elongated the figure and an interesting belted tunic that displayed a cool top to bottom application of buttons. The designer chose to introduce the audience to the wonderful color palette chosen, gradually, by featuring same-color garments one after another, thus attracting a generous amount of attention over the importance of perfect pigments this spring.

Fun and flirty, the collection’s gorgeous display of dresses that brought back the oh-so-loved ruffles that added movement to the garments helped give a more sophisticated, feminine look to the otherwise simplistic designs. From column dresses to stylish minis and deep V-neck dresses, the collection featured numerous dress designs that aim to add class and elegance to a woman’s wardrobe and look.

Apart from these designs, tunics paired with pants (very chic), shorts and blazers and trenches featuring either a monochrome pigmentation or a cool snakeskin print enchanted the audience, garments that look modern yet have that timeless feel that everyone is crazy about, so raid the new designs and pick your new style faves!
