Reality TV star Heidi Montag is back in the spotlight as she prepares for a new reality show, without husband Spencer Pratt. Heidi shows a lot of determination to look great for her TV appearances and she claims she works out 14 hours a day.
Her body is indeed way more toned as she has flashed her fab bikini body at a pool party in Las Vegas on Saturday, where she met Crystal Harris, Hugh Heffner’s “runaway bride”. Heidi told Us Weekly that she needed to lose some weight as she felt she was ‘overweight’. She said:
“I’ve been working out from, like, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two months now. I’ve been working out really hard because I had this pool party and I was like, I have to be in shape,” “And I was actually a lot overweight. It was the most I’ve ever been because I’ve kind of been in hiding eating pie with my husband and puppies, so I needed to get back in shape.”
After having about 10 plastic surgery procedures performed in 2020, which lead to a total transformation, Heidi decided to take a few time off the gym, so she could heal, and now it was time for her to get back to training. According to Heidi she has lost 27 pounds, going from 130 to 103. In addition to working out 14 hours a day, Heidi added more salads and fruits to her diet. She explains:
“I’ve been running a lot, and I’ve been doing weights. When you work out, you boost your metabolism, so you have to make sure you eat enough.”
What do you think about Heidi’s crazy 14-hour-a-day workout? Do you think spending so much time in the gym is a bit extreme?
