Being super hot like Nicole Scherzinger is definitely every woman’s dream, but it seems that achieving that perfect body comes with hard work and passes the ‘just good genes’ theory, as Nicole Scherzinger reveals to Shape, December 2020. A well balanced diet and exercise plan is the secret to looking fabulous and it seems that after such a long time of self control, Nicole has managed to escape the fear of the scales.
According to the interview Nicole gave Shape Magazine, it took a lot of work and time to get where she is now, as she reveals having started jogging and calorie counting at just 14. Apparently, all the hard work paid off as at 33, Nicole looks amazing and has a physique envied by women worldwide. She tells Shape that:
“It’s taken a long time to get here. I started jogging and counting calories when I was just 14. I’ve been on every diet you can imagine. By the time I was in the Pussycat Dolls, I was on the scale all the time. It became my enemy because I noticed that when I exercised really hard, I’d gain weight. Now that I’m in my 30s, I’ve stepped off the scale – I just go by how my clothes fit. I’m more accepting of my body and have learned to really embrace it.”
It seems that Nicole has been keen on being on the cover of Shape Magazine for quite a while now, as the diva reveals fitness and health are very important. She believes this combo “means everything, having not only a strong body, but a strong mind and spirit – it’s really empowering.”
Nicole Scherzinger says that having that perfect balance between healthy eating and exercising allows you to be able to satisfy your cravings, and she’s no stranger to cravings as well, as she tells that magazine that: “To really satisfy my cravings, I turn to my roots. I was born in Hawaii, so I love dried tuna dipped in soy sauce, kalua pig, banana pancakes with coconut syrup, and chocolate-covered macadamia nuts. My gosh, I could gain 10 pounds just talking about these foods!”
Although she seems like she could do fine just by eating crumbs, Nicole says that she eats quite a lot and that she tries to stick to eating her breakfast, lunch and dinner even when she has a crazy schedule. She tells Shape that: “Actually, I eat – a lot! Even with my crazy schedule, I never skip meals. I’ll often have soft-boiled eggs, smoked salmon and whole wheat toast for breakfast; cold cuts, veggies and fruit for lunch; and usually chicken or fish with rice and more vegetables for dinner.”
Nicole has a few aces up her sleeve as well, working with her to keeping her body looking fabulous, and that is actually something she’s very good at: dancing. Dancing is a perfect way to shed those extra pounds and have fun, so no wonder that dancing is a popular exercise routine. Kicking it up a notch before a video shoot or a tour helps Nicole get that perfectly toned body that makes heads turn. She says: “When I’m getting ready for a tour or a video shoot, I throw myself full throttle into my work, and those extra 10 pounds just seem to melt off. I also have a resistance workout that does wonders for my arms and abs.”
Nicole Scherzinger’s new moto helps her keep herself on healthy mode and it seems that it works. The diva told Shape that her new moto is“stay active, eat everything in moderation, and stop being so tough on myself”, so try to adopt Nicole’s new lifestyle moto and work to get the body you’ve been dreaming of.
