Why Diets Do Not Work

Why Diets Do Not Work

Why some diets go wrong? Because of bad nutrition! Sound nutrition based upon scientific fact is second to none. There are many “diets” available on the market all claiming to produce fantastic results, yet the majority of these diets are NOT based upon current or even relevant scientific research.

In addition, they are rarely adapted to the needs of the dieter as an individual. That is not to say that they do not work in one way or another, however, many people have tried many diets yet they continually look for the next best diet. Why? This would be because they did not produce long lasting permanent results that were safe and easy to maintain.

The fat burning program is based upon scientific fact and research.

Based upon the principles of a 40:30:30 ratio of macronutrients (carbohydrates: protein: fats) – it is important to remember that balance is key to a healthy diet!

Why Diets Do Not Work

This ratio of macronutrients matches the body’s blue print of what percentage the body requires of carbohydrates, protein and fats so that it can perform at an optimum level, maintain healthy and even blood sugar levels whilst avoiding the release of unhealthy amounts of the hormone insulin into the bloodstream.

Furthermore, the carbohydrates need to be of a medium to low glycemic index so that they are absorbed more slowly into the body, the protein needs to be from a low saturated fat source, and the dietary fat needs to be contain high levels of unsaturated fats, preferably with a high level of Omega-3’s that have gradually decreased in our diet over the last 120 years.
