Kenneth Cole’s fall 2020 collection from New York Fashion Week is highly awaited as the brand has always delivered innovative, wearable designs that displayed a perfect balance between casualness and boldness.
Kenneth Cole left its print on the fashion industry 30 years ago when the designer decided to open his own shoe business but with limited finances. With ingenuity and perseverance, Kenneth Cole identified the perfect means to enter the shoe industry, by turning the company’s name into Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc., so he could be granted a permit to park a truck in Midtown Manhattan to sell his shoes and shoot a movie ‘The Birth of a Shoe Company’, as only production companies were allowed to park trucks in the select area. In just two and a half days, Kenneth Cole Productions sold 40,000 pairs of shoes and the rest is history!
Kenneth Cole has since expanded its boundaries into men and women’s fashion designs as well as accessories and includes the following lines: Kenneth Cole Reaction, Kenneth Cole Collection, Kenneth Cole New York and Unlisted.
