Bold tones are a great choice for a quick beauty boost in hot summer days, yet for the spring season, pastels are almost always seen as a more popular. If stocking up on pretty soft tones is on your to do list for the new season, you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at the latest OPI collection which aims to help women fulfill this beauty need. The world of ballet proved a great starting point for the latest 6 piece line, as the brand has joined forces with NYCB for a fabulous collection.
Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director reveals part of the thought process involved in developing the new collection: “OPI is so excited to work with the New York City Ballet. NYCB is rich with artistic history and has a renowned reputation that brings people from around the world to see NYCB performances. The dancers, choreography and costumes provided a wealth of inspiration for a range of soft, feminine hues. The beige, pink, and white lacquers bring to mind classic ballet slippers, tutus and leotards, while the sheer lilac and gray add muted color to ballet’s traditional pink.”
Katherine E. Brown, NYCB Executive Director shared the excitement and stated: “One of our goals at NYCB is to make ballet accessible to the widest possible public. We are thrilled to be partnering with OPI on this exciting new endeavor, sharing the beauty and elegance of NYCB with a new audience.” As always, the six hues have names designed to bring a smile on our faces and to make us remember them easier.
