The latest project of the brand, which is said to hit the stores early in May will be an interesting visual representation of the blockbuster-to-be Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Ties. Speaking about the brand’s vision Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director declared:
“OPI is thrilled to celebrate the latest film in this beloved series. The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides lacquers were inspired by a world filled with mythical mermaids, gleaming treasure, and high-seas adventure. With shades ranging from sage and lavender to khaki gray and pastel pink, these colors are evocative of a warm, tropical setting, with a classic nautical influence.”
Moving past the rather subjective elements that surround this nail polish collection, it is important to mention that the nail polishes included in the collection will be DBP, toluene, and formaldehyde free, which is a great eco friendly initiative from the brand.
The collection is focused around various pastel shades, a thing that might be seen as rather intriguing by some who might have expected to see darker, more dramatic shades, taking into account the main theme. Nonetheless, the colors are incredibly alluring and surprisingly feminine.
