Miranda Kerr definitely surprised everyone with her amazing fit post-baby body. The 28-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel covers ‘InStyle’ Australia, the August 2020 issue, and speaks about getting back in shape after giving birth to Flynn, priorities in life, and about possibly moving back to Australia. ‘InStyle’ spent a day with Kerr while she was working for the new David Jones campaign. Here are some photos and a few snippets from the interview.
The gorgeous Aussie supermodel and husband Orlando Bloom welcomed their first child back in January. Just weeks after the birth, Miranda flaunted an enviable body. “He’s a big baby, 4.5 kilograms at birth, and I thought to myself, ‘I have so much more that I want to do aside from modeling. I can live with my body not being in shape if I have a healthy son. It’s worth it’,” the model said about her pre-baby body.
Miranda takes baby Flynn at shoots. She told the magazine that, “I’m so blessed that I can bring him to work.” The model has also tweeted pictures of herself feeding Flynn. One of the photos features the two of them in bed soon after he was born, while the second one, more recent, captures the beautiful mom sitting in a make-up chair in a robe and heels, posted with the words: “Another day in the office”.
In 2020, the supermodelmom became ambassador for the Australian department store David Jones. This month, Miranda returns to the David Jones runways for the retailer’s spring/summer preview, after taking a break last year. “I always have a great time when I go back. I grew up [working] with so many of the Australian designers—Lisa Ho, Alex Perry, the Ksubi boys—they were the first shows I ever did and I feel close to them.”
Miranda entered into the fashion world at the age of 13, after winning the Dolly Magazine/Impulse Model Competition. Soon, she managed to become one of the sexiest and most in demand models in the world. Now, as mom and wife, it seems that her priorities have changed. “I was working 18-hour days. Now the pace has slowed so I can spend the majority of my time with Flynn—we have a bath together every night. [I am] first a wife and a mother, and then comes work. When I work, it needs to be the best decision for us as a family,” Miranda told ‘InStyle’.
Kerr confesses that she is very close to her family who was at the photo shoot. On possibly moving back to Australia, the supermodel says that, “I like to think [so]. Flynn would love it, and I had such a wonderful childhood in the country. He is going to have a diverse upbringing.”
